Many of the team at Ellis come from a hospitality background which ensures that we can really understand what our customers need. Having our own bonded warehouse generally means that customers can order the day before delivery which helps to control their stocks. We have our own, uniformed delivery staff and fleet of vehicles, many of our drivers develop close relationships with our customers and are only too happy to help put the wines into the correct cellars.

We keep large stock amounts of the top 200 wines and are seldom out of stock of any wines as we know the troubles it causes to our customers when this happens.

Regular training is offered as we understand the relatively high turnover of staff within the hospitality sector so we are on hand to maintain high levels of knowledge. Many of our sales team have many years of experience and also have WSET qualifications so we are very happy to offer guidance on trendsetting wines and how to compose your wine list.

With a genuine focus to the on-trade, you generally won’t find our wines cropping up in the supermarkets as we know the importance of this in the hospitality sector.
